My journey with clay began over five years ago in Sri Lanka, where I first learned to work with the wheel and shape earth into form. This initial exploration led me through the Mediterranean, studying in the coastal town of Xabia and later continuing my craft in Barcelona. As an architect by formal training, I bring a unique perspective to ceramics—one that bridges structural precision with organic exploration.
My work is an ongoing investigation of the delicate tension between order and chaos, between the conscious and subconscious. Drawing from my architectural background, I'm fascinated by form that transcends pure function, seeking instead to capture moments of subjective and shared beauty. Each piece becomes a meditation on the surreal spaces where reality is crafted—where our individual "hallucinations" intersect and create a collective understanding.

Growing up in Australia, first in the quiet coastal town of Albany and later in Canberra, I learned early about the fluid boundaries between what is real and what is imagined. This early experience continues to inform my approach to ceramics: each creation is a exploration of duality—a moment where opposing forces exist simultaneously and then dissolve into something entirely new.
Ceramics are not just objects…
Ceramics are not just objects, but conversations—invitations to explore the thin membrane between structure and spontaneity, between the planned and the unexpected. They represent a search for connection, for those rare moments when our individual perceptions overlap and create something greater than ourselves.
